A traditional bread from Jharkhand, India, is called Chhilka Roti. The ingredients are chana dal and rice flour. Meat, veggies, and chutney are served with it. It goes by the name Chilka as well.
For a night, the rice and chana dal were soaked in water. When the water has been filtered to create batter, it is ground in the morning and salted to taste. Following that, a half bowl of batter is spread out in the heated tawa that has been lightly oil. Following a light browning, the mixture flipped to roast on the other side. After properly roasting, if the darker side of the bread turns light brown, it’s done. Meat, veggies, and chutney are typically served with it.
